Coaching Fiji is a massive opportunity and I’m immensely proud, honoured and privileged to be in this position. Those were the words of Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach, Ben Gollings after landing in NZ with the team ahead of tomorrow’s Hamilton 7s.

In the early days Ben Gollings was a sevens threat and now he continues to be a threat to all the teams that go against him.

Gollings says

it was always exciting playing against Fiji and to be given this opportunity to coach them, is a big boost in his rugby career.

He says the nice thing about coaching Fiji is that the players are humble and so responsive.

The coach says

he has played with and against a lot of Pacific Island players and he was happy when he got this opportunity to coach Fiji.
