Why is Netflix doing this?
This whole trilogy just didn’t need to happen. Even now nobody knows what the actual plot of the movie is and at this point, I’m too scared to ask.
I couldn’t get past the first few minutes of the second movie because there was just no depth to it, plus it has been getting a lot of flak reviews online so I don’t exactly know what the game plan is here, but the creators seem to be holding on to some kind of hope that this movie will be a success.
To be honest, I feel like this is just another case of “any publicity is good publicity” because whether or not people like it, it has people talking and that’s enough to get them the exposure they need to validate the production of a third instalment.
Now all we can do is wait and see how this whole ordeal will end.
