Going out clubbing and going on a bender can be really fun and exciting. But if you have coconuts to scrape and a church service to go to the next morning, a bad hangover is the last thing you want.

Here are a few tips to take note of if you want to wake up feeling fresh and not like shizz:

1. Eat before drinking (base)

Eat something you know will carry you throughout the night. Nothing too heavy, though.

2. Drink water throughout the night

It is always good to have glasses of water between takis; truest me, it’ll help. Not only will it keep you awake, but it will balance out the alcohol and keep you hydrated.

3. Eat after drinking

Something most people forget to do. Have something spicy that will dilute the alcohol and help you have a good nights rest.
