Netflix’s Bridgerton is all anyone can talk about these days and with good reason. It has some of the best love stories and best steamy scenes we’ve seen on television in a long time.

The first season walked us through Daphne and Simon, season two brought us Kate and Anthony, and now, season three will focus on Penelope and Colin, instead of Benedict as some fans had expected.

Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope, is the one who released the secret.

“Like Lady Whistledown, I have been keeping a secret for quite some time and I can confirm to you all that season three is Colin and Penelope’s love story,” she shared on May 15.

“I have kept that secret since two weeks into season two.”

The push and pull between this two is driving me insane!!
Colin hurt her feelings in season two when she overheard him saying to a group of men that he’d “never dream of courting” her. It might have been just to save face.
I definitely want to see how that moves their relationship going forward.
