Ba Women’s Football FC claimed the Women’s Super League 2024 title in a thrilling final league held at Subrails Park, Labasa over the weekend. The intense match featured some of Fiji’s top national players, with Labasa fielding stars like Vanisha Kumar, Filomena, Selai, Sofi Diyalowai, Unaisi Tuberi and Stella Naivalulevu, while Ba brought talents such as Cema Nasau, Koleta Nodrakoro, Aliza Hussein, and Luisa Tamani.

Both teams showcased exceptional skill, but the game was decided by a single moment of brilliance from Ba’s Cema Nasau, who scored the only goal of the match from a free kick.

The victory also earned Ba Women’s Football FC the honor of representing Fiji at the OFC Women’s League Championship for the first time.  As Ba prepares for the next challenge, this win is a testament to the growing strength and competitiveness of women’s football in Fiji.
