First off, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY, FAM!
Growing up, we have all faced embarrassing, awkward moments in life, but it’s even more embarrassing with mom witnessing it.
Now we are going to list a few awkward moments that we have faced with our moms witnessing them, and you can tell us if they are relatable.
- TELLING MOM YOU’RE GOING TO MEET YOUR FRIENDS, BUT YOU WENT TO MEET YOUR BF/GF.
I feel like this one is the most embarrassing encounter ever. Have you ever lied to your mom and told her you were going to see your friends? But really, you went to see your boyfriend or girlfriend? Haha, this one is a classic. It makes the situation a whole lot awkward when you accidentally meet your mom in town and she sees you with your boyfriend or girlfriend. It would be even more embarrassing if she decided to scold you in public.
- WANTING SOMETHING FROM THE STORE, MOM SAYS “NO”
Do you remember asking mom to buy you something and she says no, yet you keep nagging her to get it until she gets super mad and smacks you, and even worse, in public? So there you are, embarrassed and crying, with people looking at you with your (POTE) face.
- GETTING THE HIDING AFTER SPENDING HER ‘LOOSE CHANGE’
I used to love running to the shop for my mom whenever she gave me more than $10. That means I could spend a cheeky 50c on bubble gum, and she wouldn’t know. But one time I was overconfident and spent $5, thinking she wouldn’t notice. Well, let’s say I left for school the following day with sasa-broom marks on my thighs.
