The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team is gearing up for the upcoming SVNS HSBC Dubai 7s tournament at the end of the month, with a strong focus on improving their discipline. Coach Osea Kolinisau highlighted the importance of discipline and consistency after their recent victory at the Fiji Bitter Mataso Nakorovou 7s. Although the team started poorly in the final against the Taikita Brothers, Kolinisau was pleased that they managed to regain control and win.
He also mentioned that the team would focus on strengthening their defense and improving their performance during kick-offs. The Fiji 7s team has now departed for Dubai. Their first match is scheduled against Spain on November 30 at 6:06 p.m., followed by a game against the USA at 9:52 p.m. They will conclude their pool matches against New Zealand on December 1 at 3:16 a.m.
