An Indian man who had been pronounced dead by doctors allegedly came back to life when the ambulance transporting him home to his family hit a deep pothole.
India has a big problem with potholes, which bothers millions of people every day and sometimes causes serious injuries or even death. However, according to the family of an 80-year-old man from Haryana, potholes can sometimes be a blessing in disguise. Darshan Singh Brar reportedly owes his life to a pothole. After feeling unwell for several days, one of his grandsons took him to a nearby hospital, where he was diagnosed with a severe chest infection that worsened his existing heart condition. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, he was declared dead after four days on a ventilator. But that’s just the beginning of the story…
After being declared dead, Darshan was escorted back home in an ambulance to his family for rituals. As they were heading home, the ambulance drove over(barely) a pothole and much to everyone’s surprise Darshan started breathing again!
Doctors confirmed that Darshan Singh Brar was very much alive and referred him to a hospital in Nising, from where he was taken to the NP Rawal Hospital in Karnal. His condition is still critical, but he is fighting for his life.
